On June 25 and 26, 2026, ONYAX participated as at the 11th edition of Servizi a Rete TOUR, hosted in the evocative location of Stazione Leopolda in Florence. The event represents one of the main national appointments dedicated to network and public service operators, an opportunity for discussion among companies, institutions, utilities, universities and professionals on the technologies and strategies that are transforming the infrastructure sector, with particular attention to the water sector.
The first day featured our CEO Gian Paolo Quarta during the technical speech entitled “Smart water networks: IoT solutions and neural techniques for water quality and footprint,” together with Marco Roncucci, Head of the Measurement and Equipment Management Unit, Maintenance Engineering, Protection and Development at Acquedotto del Fiora, and Lisa Rita Magnaghi, Tenure Track Researcher at the University of Pavia.
The presentation explored the ongoing experimentation at the Acquedotto del Fiora water houses, where NEMO, the IoT micro-laboratory developed by ONYAX for monitoring the quality of municipal drinking water, was installed. The project demonstrates how the integration of smart sensors with data analysis platforms can make continuous and real-time monitoring of water quality parameters possible, offering operators an advanced tool to improve operational efficiency and the timeliness of interventions.
Participation in Servizi a Rete TOUR was once again confirmed as an important opportunity to meet operators, partners, researchers and professionals in the sector. Two days full of dialogue, networking and sharing of experiences that made it possible to explore the main challenges that the water sector is called upon to face and the role that technological innovation can play in supporting this evolution.
We thank all the people who came to visit us at our stand: events such as Servizi a Rete TOUR confirm how essential it is to create opportunities for discussion in order to accelerate innovation and build the future of smart water networks together.
